We are committed to offering a space where financial limitations never stand in the way of opportunity or mentorship.

You do not need decades of experience to become a mentor at SheConnect — what matters most is your willingness to guide, listen, and support others. While having some professional experience in your field is certainly valuable, mentorship at SheConnect is about more than just expertise. It's about sharing real-world insights, lessons you've learned, challenges you've overcome, and encouragement. We welcome mentors at all stages of their careers who are passionate about making a difference. We understand that mentors have busy schedules, which is why SheConnect offers flexible commitment options. Typically, we recommend mentors dedicate around 2–4 hours per month, but ultimately, it’s up to you and your mentee to decide what works best for both of you. Some mentorships involve weekly check-ins, while others might be monthly conversations, project feedback, or even occasional advice sessions. We encourage quality over quantity — it’s not about the number of hours you spend, but the impact you make during that time. Your availability will be clearly communicated during the matching process, ensuring expectations are set from the beginning.

Absolutely — at SheConnect, we believe that the right match is essential for a meaningful mentorship experience. If for any reason you feel that your current mentor or mentee relationship isn't a good fit — whether it's due to communication style, goals, or scheduling conflicts — you can request a rematch at any time.
